Offical Father's Day 2004 Sweepstakes Rules:
  1. Entry: No purchase is required to enter the CFM Specialty Home Products Father's Day Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes"). The Sweepstakes begins on May 1, 2004 and ends on June 5, 2004. To enter the Sweepstakes, entrant must either (i) complete an official on-line registration form available at www.hgtv.com and follow the links to the BBQ Basics Channel or www.myownbbq.com and by clicking on the "submit" button; (ii) to enter by mail by requesting an official registration form in writing from CFM Specialty Home Products at the address below and mailing the completed official registration form to CFM Specialty Home Products, CFM Corporation (the "Sponsor") at: 410 Admiral Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario L5T 2N6 Canada. There is no cost to register and you need not agree to receive any promotional mailings. Only one entry per household is allowed, regardless of method of entry. On-line entries must be received by 11:59 pm ET, June 5, 2004 and all mailed entries must be post-marked not later than June 1, 2004. Upon entry (by Internet or mail) each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Sweepstakes Rules.

  2. Sweepstakes Participants: The Sweepstakes is open to all residents of Canada (except residents of the province of Quebec) and all legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. The Sweepstakes is not open to: (i) employees of the Sponsor, its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries and members of their immediate families or persons residing in the same household of such employees; or (ii) agents, dealers, advertising and promotional agencies or any other party engaged in the development, production and/or distribution of materials relating to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or stolen, delayed, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or lost entries. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel the Sweepstakes for any reason, including without limitation, if the Sweepstakes becomes technically corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention. In the event of cancellation, the Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize to an eligible, non-suspect, entry received prior to date of cancellation. The use of automated entry devices or any other conduct which impedes the integrity of the Sweepstakes is prohibited. In the event of a dispute, an entry will be deemed made by the holder of an established e-mail account associated with the entry. Upon entry, all official registration forms become property of the Sponsor.

  3. Prizes: The Sweepstakes shall award the following prizes (collectively, the "Prizes"): (i) a "Grand Prize" of a VCS5000 BBQ and a Patio Fire (GPF burner & Chalet base); (ii) "Second Prize" of a VCS3500 BBQ; (iii) "Third Prize" of VCS3000 BBQ.

  4. No substitutions for cash or otherwise are allowed if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Delivery and installation will be the sole responsibility of the Prize winner. Each winner is responsible for this payment directly to the Authorized Dealer or CFM Specialty Home Products promptly upon final delivery.
  5. A random draw will be held by the Sponsor at its offices in Mississauga, Ontario on or about June 7, 2004. Winners will be selected from all valid entries received during the Sweepstakes. In order to claim a Prize, a Canadian resident must first correctly answer a skill-testing question within a specified time, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, or alternate winner will be chosen.

    6. General

Each Prize winner (a "Winner") hereby consents to the Sponsor's use of the Winner's name, address (city/province), voice, likeness, photograph and any statements regarding this Sweepstakes for editorial, public relations, promotional and advertising purposes (in any medium) on behalf of Sponsor without compensation and without restriction, unless prohibited by applicable law. The Winner will be required to sign a written declaration and a mutually acceptable liability and publicity releases confirming compliance with these Official Sweepstakes Rules and releasing the Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability associated with the Prizes. The Winner must execute his/her declaration and liability and publicity releases and return such executed documents to the Sponsor within 10 business days of the date the Winner receives the documents. If the fully executed declaration and the liability and public releases are not received by the Sponsor within the prescribed period, Winner shall have forfeited any rights to the Prizes and an alternate winner will be chosen.
  7. The chances of being selected as the potential winner depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  8. The Sweepstakes is subject to all Canadian and U. S. federal, state/provincial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. This contest is intended for viewing only in Canada and the United States (except not in Quebec) and shall be construed and evaluated only according to Canadian and United States law. Do not enter this contest unless you are located in Canada or the United States (except for Quebec).
  9. Each Winner resident in the United States shall be solely liable for any and all applicable taxes in respect of a Prize.
  10. Inquires with respect to the identification of the Winner may be made, after June 15, 2004, by mailing such inquiry along with a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: CFM Specialty Home Products Father's Day Sweepstakes, 410 Admiral Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2N6, Canada or log onto www.myownbbq.com website and follow the links.
  11. The Sponsor reserves the right at anytime to amend the Official Sweepstakes Rules if any factor interferes with its conduct as contemplated by these Official Sweepstakes Rules.
  12. All decisions made by Sponsor relating to the Sweepstakes will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
